Soooo Behind!

A lot has gone on in the past 3 weeks since I've blogged last. Where to start...

A few weeks ago I was told that they were getting rid of my position at the hospital. That was some heartbreaking news to hear. I'll try not to show how bitter I am about the situation. :)
It is almost bitter sweet. I LOVED the people  most the people I worked with, like any job, but it was almost like a stress reliever at the same time. I absolutely love what I do in the IT field, but there really wasn't much recognition for work done at the hospital along with some caddy women that I had the pleasure of working with.

I recently was offered a position to work for a computer consulting company in Lincoln called Bizco. I'm very excited to start this journey, but like anyone I'm pretty nervous too.

The best thing that has came out of all of this is that I've got to spend the last 4 glorious weeks home with my little baby girl. It's really going to be so hard to leave her to go back to work for the second time. I love every minute of it, but I have definitely learned since she's gotten older that Stay At Home Mom's deserve the utmost respect.

Here's some photo's to sum up the last 3 weeks: (I can hear Finleigh getting ready to wake up so they are out of order)

This one just breaks my heart

Poor lil Reese was sick and couldn't make it with us so we sub'd in Finleigh's foot.

Hopefully I'll get on top of blogging again. It's only going to get busier once I get back to work!

3 Months Old

I've been a little behind on my blog since I've been trying to keep up Finleigh's baby book/calendar and spending all my spare time on her 1 year scrapbook. I really want to have all her memories captured so she can look back on them!

Thanksgiving week Finney Pig turned 3 months old. I can't believe how big she's gotten and I think I fall in love with her more and more every day!

We spent Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family and we enjoyed getting to see everyone and the amazing food!

Taking a little snooze with Daddy

We are excited for Christmas since all the babies will be a little older!

Updates
Sleeping Schedule: Not doing as well as last month. Doesn't want to fall asleep until about 9:30 at night and then wakes up around 1:30AM and 4:30AM. She usually eats and goes right back to sleep so I can't complain. Rarely takes longer than a 20 min. nap during the day.

Height and Weight: We don't go to the doctor until next month for a wellness check-up so I don't have a height, but last weekend when we were at Milk Works I went ahead and weighed her with her clothes on and she was 12lbs 11oz., so she has gained a little under 2lbs in the last month.

Achievements: Can control her hands a lot better and is able to suck on her fingers easier. Got her first tooth coming through.

Diapers: Just moved into size 2's.

Clothes: Completely out of newborns. Wearing 0-3 months and occasionally wearing 3-6 month clothing.

Today was a bitter sweet day. Finleigh has turned 2 months old today which means my baby is growing up so fast.

Guess which one is the baby!

Trick or Treat with Baby Friends

Last Thursday Beatrice had the annual trick or treating downtown. Finleigh and I planned on going with a couple of her and my friends. It was a little cold, but we had a lot of fun. We started out at the Daily Sun and got our picture taken for the newspaper article on Halloween.
After that we walked down to the Cutting Edge and people watched to see all the kids costumes. We really didn't do much "Trick or Treating" just because we didn't want to be "those kind" of moms that take their kids just to get the candy. We actually saw tons of moms doing this...there was some real classy people out that night, haha!

That night must have really worn Fin out. She slept through the night from 9PM-5AM. It's the little things in life.

Family Night

We had originally planned on carving pumpkins with Finleigh on Sunday night, but ended up doing it on Wednesday night instead. Sometimes we just have to adjust priorities to fit everything in, in a day.

2 Weeks Behind

Since I've been back to work I have been doing terrible on my blog. I just don't get enough time to sit down and post anything and when I do, I usually fall asleep. The last two weeks have had their ups and downs. When I had went back to work I seriously thought that there was no way I was going to be able to handle it. Finleigh only slept 2 hours at night and some nights she wouldn't sleep at all. This was mostly my fault because I didn't start a schedule for her not knowing how important it was going to be. Towards the end of the week things got better and she started sleeping about 3-4 hours a night. That extra hour just makes a huge difference.

My father in law was in a terrible chain saw accident the weekend before I was supposed to start back at work. He was in ICU and Nate's mom (our babysitter) needed to be up there with him. I had a temporary freak out moment until I remembered that my cousin Ashley was a stay at home mom. Thankfully she offered to watch Fin. We would've been lost without her. She even taught Fin how to use her binky :).

After we got past that first week my mom, sister, and her kids headed over to Roca Berry Farm for some family fun. Finleigh had a blast and actually stayed awake most of the time. I think this is because she's finally getting her days and nights turned around.

This was a much needed get away. We went on a Saturday so it left Sunday to lay around with my baby.

From Poker Face to Pencil Case

One thing I will have to miss from now on is me and my friends love for concert going. We go all out and usually make a weekend out of it.

Yup we were that close thanks to our costume

I know that we'll eventually get to go to concerts again, but they just might be the Bubble Guppies instead!
